My hair is fine and damaged by sun and salt water. I put this in for an overnight treatment and found it easy to wash it. 2 shampoos to be sure. Was shocked by how shiny, soft and full my hair looked. I let it air dry and it was smooth and shiny. I feel like my hair hasn’t had a shine in a long time. Super happy with the product. It also has no overwhelming smell. My hair dresser said she was amazed at how much new hair a client of hers had grown with the product. She said the woman’s hair had been thinning, but when she put her hands in her hair at the roots that she could feel all the new growth. I really hope this helps me too.

Oh my stars. I just love this stuff. Again, Banyan rocks immense quality and organic herbal magic in a product. I’m new to hair oiling, and have never seen my locks look lovelier. My hair seems thicker, yet light and shiny. The very best part is that it looks like I just shampooed it for days! Never thought that could be possible. I only wash it once a week now. Usually it would get greasy and I’d wash it every other day. I think my scalp is getting the oil it needs from this weekly treatment and doesn’t need to continuously seep it out any more (that’s my theory, anyhow.) Great tip, Lisa: the dry shampooing (adding shampoo and lathering before adding water.)
I have found that adding a teaspoon of Dr. Bronner’s castille soap to my blob of shampoo works well too. It cuts the oil without drying the hair 🙂
